ABOUT Scotts® ProVista™ St. Augustine Grass
ProVista™ is a game-changing St Augustine variety based on the proven genetics of Floratam and developed by Scotts® Miracle-Gro.
Backed by Scotts®, ProVista™ makes it possible to have beautiful turf with half the mowing, making it better for the environment. Thanks to its dense, horizontal habit, excellent uniformity, and weed-free capability, ProVista™ makes it possible to cut your mowing in half. This feature results in less carbon emissions and delivers valuable savings in time and money.
Scotts® ProVista™ has a deep green color, thrives in full sun, and exhibits improved performance in moderate shade. Given its Floratam background, ProVista™ does not require any special care but delivers exceptional benefits in terms of aesthetics and ease of maintenance.

Grass Plug Coverage
Each SodPods® grass plug is approximately 3 inches by 3 inches. A 16-pack grass plug tray can cover up to 32 square feet when spaced 18 inches apart. For faster coverage, reduce the spacing between plugs.
How to Plant Scotts ProVista Grass Plugs
SodPods® make planting grass plugs easy and convenient. Follow these simple steps:
1. Dig Holes: Use a shovel or the SodPods® Power Planter grass plug tool to dig holes for the plugs, spacing them 6-18 inches apart.
2. Drop a NutriPod®: For best results, we recommend using NutriPod®—a specialized lawn fertilizer designed for SodPods®. Simply drop one NutriPod® into each planting hole before inserting the grass plugs. This provides essential nutrients for the plugs, ensuring healthy and robust grass growth.
3. Insert Plugs: Insert a grass plug into each hole and press firmly into the soil. Ensure the plugs are upright, with the grass blades level with the ground.
4. Water: Water frequently for the first two weeks after installation to keep the soil moist several inches deep. Adjust the frequency as needed based on weather conditions. Once new growth appears, reduce watering to 1-2 times weekly.
